GT380 Clutch Nut.

Post by gt-keith »

Making a little more progress with my engine rebuild, Just tightening the big stuff.
Now the crank primary gear is a 24mm A/F nut and the book says 36ft-lb
The problem is I can't find the torque setting for the clutch centre nut, this nut is 27mm A/F.
Anybody got any idea's ?

Just use an impact wrench and put it on tight, I never torque them.

If at first you don't succeed, just get a bigger hammer !

The T500 clutch hub takes 36ft-lbs and I suspect the 380 should be about the same.
