All my crank seals are being replaced, so no worry there. I'll be sending the crankshaft out to be rebuilt soon.dinogt wrote:Can you put a link with BIGS pics in ?

Re: My T500 project
I will be selling them, I've got a set of expansion chambers on order. The stock parts are in decent shape, but by no means are they perfect. No major dents, but they have a few scratches along with the overall condition you'd expect a set of 35+ year old pipes to be in.wvc wrote:dibs on the stock pipes if you decide to sell them.

Re: My T500 project
Progress update:
The crank and cylinders were shipped on Monday to Bill Bune in MN for new crank seals and a 0.5mm overbore. Cleaned up the cases, etc and will paint the engine when the cylinders get back. My new expansion chambers arrived from Titan Performance and they look fantastic! I can't wait to hear them.

The engine looks nice and clean now. How are things going with that aluminum tank you're getting done?

Re: My T500 project
Sean said it'd be a ~9 weeks based on his current shop load. I'm at ~ three weeks. Should have it sometime in December. I can't finish up the frame and get the powdercoating done until I have the tank. Until then the engine and wheels are my focus.CJF wrote:The engine looks nice and clean now. Re: My T500 project
Got a phone call from the shop last night. The crank and cylinders are finished and I should have them back by the end of the week.

I'm happy so far. The price was very reasonable and they only had the parts for 3 business days.CJF wrote:Bill Bune is great to do business with. They do quality work at reasonable prices with quick turnaround. Can't beat that!
