A funny

thing happened on my way home from a very nice ride in the country. The weather was perfect, the fall colors magnificent, the bike was running like a Rolex, the sun was low on the horizon, and therein lies the problem. I was eastbound with the sun behind me, and unfortunately that same sun was in someone else's eyes, who then proceeded to turn left into my path, and these sorry pictures are the result. Among other things. No broken bones, but lots of trauma and bruising, and yet another great helmet bites the dust. Any body got any cheap V Strom parts kicking around?

Be aware folks, of the dangers at that time of day when the sun is at your back.
Otherwise, I'm hobbling around like a senior citizen (I qualify for early pension in March) at present, but things are improving daily. Keep the shiny side up, and the big shiny thing in front of you at dusk, whenever possible. Cheers.
