OT Natural gas grill

I ordered a natural gas grill. I have a gas supply about 15 ft. away from the grills location. The grill is not here yet.
Is it safe to use PVC for the line? NG is low pressure - about 7 - 9 psi.

There is some new flexible PVC lines available for water and other fluids/gases. The one for water is blue and i believe the NG is either yellow or red in sheath colour, so buy accordingly.

I did some research today and I can't find anyone that will acknowledge that NG PVC even exists. I can use pipe but it's going to make the job a lot more difficult.

These guys have some nice flexible hose for natural gas.

They list 5 psi as max working pressure, so if you regulate it accordingly and check your burner specs you'll probably be okay.

Went to a local supply house (Empire Plumbing) yesterday and they have all the NG lines I need in yellow flexible PVC with stainless NPT ends already installed. They came in 1, 2,, 3, 4 and 6 foot lengths. The 6 footer coupled with the 10 footer attached to the grill should make the required run. I didn't buy anything because the grill is still not here and I don't know what type of connector it has.
They were labeled 'Natural Gas appliance supply lines' 'Suitable for indoor or outdoor use'.

Don't forget to check with the gas company or the local building inspector to find out what the building codes are for your area. PVC lines may work in you application but may not be legal for your area....
