Wo Juggy, Kava is heavy duty stuff - take care with it. It does seem to have some anxiety settling properties though (which can make it more attractive )
Things are very slow down in this part of the world as it's so flamin wet and cold. We're having one sod of a winter so far. On the positive side, I got the Titan out of the garage (during a brief rainless afternoon spell) after 4 weeks of sitting and the old girl ticked into life after three prods of the kicker. She then ran like a swiss watch for the duration of my run. I'm staving off depression by repeating to myself (hourly) that spring is only 3-4 months away!.
Oh, and Kelly is now on the KTW board. She's abandoned you for the bigger and gruntier two strokes - sorry guys

Oh yeah, it's miserable down here. Each morning I can see more snow on the mountains - mostly it's just very wet this year though. We recently got 6 months rain in 3 days Still, I don't think it's anywhere near as cold as the North American brothers experience so I shouldn't complain.
To add to the fun of it all, the cost of registering bikes has just jumped up this week - courtesy of our beloved government ... but both my bikes will soon be 40 years old which entitles them to discounted rates (about $95 p.a. as opposed to $350 or so)
So, tell me tales of sunshine and riding, so I can live vicariously for the next few months

I have a GT380, and I used to be more active, but several things came up over the last couple years and it took me out of the 2 stroke arena. I am now working on getting it running again.
I sent a PM to Zooke, but no reply so far. I set up the previous version of this forum for him a few years ago, I see he has changed to phpBB. If not set up correctly, phpBB can be very suceptible to spam. A glance at the memberlist shows a lot of spammer acounts (about 7000, it looks like). If you want, I can clean that out, and I could add a Suzuki Two Stroke logo in place of the generic phpBB logo.

I for one would love to see the newer version of phpBB spun up, so long as the name attribute associated with the posts isn't reset to admin. If you can help then great !! Hopefully Zooke will reply.

ALL old bike boards will eventually slow to nothing because the people that are interested in any given brand/type of bike are getting older and thus there are fewer of us around to support any given board. As well, there are fewer examples of our GT's (for instance) available for resto or reclamation and this hurts board activity as well.
There will always be "young" blood that pick up these bikes and need somewhere to ask a lot of questions so I don't think the boards will slow to nothing.

Ok, here in the deep south, it has been raining off and on everyday. No riding But, this Thursday and Friday rain chances are down to 40%, so I am going to try to dodge any rain and RIDE. Afterall it is in the 90's here for highs anf lower 70's for the lows. Even in the winter, a windshield and you are good to go most of the time. Freezing temps don't last but a few days at a time, etc. so there is a lot more riding possible. That is why you don't find any low mileage bikes in the southern states, you can ride a lot more per year. I found my '76 GT500 in Wisconsin with 9,000 or so miles on it. I have had it 4 years now and have put about 5,500 miles. I would have more, but had some downtime looking for parts. I am ready,( I hope) for when it needs to be overhauled. A complete gasket set, every 'O' ring, seal, first over piston and rings, 4 homebuilt CDI boxes, yep, I am ready for long term riding. Just need a side cover from Juggy and a pair of fork boots from France.
I just got a reply from Eric. We are going to see what we can do about fixing this forum up so there are not so many d*** spammers getting through, and regular Suzuki riders can actually register and be active members.
