I have one of theses new Cromwell open-face helmets… it was given to me, it's cool but it is SO loud that I have to wear earplugs… a first for me.

I even had to stop at a roadside dinner the first time to find some toilet paper to stuff my ears with…

I might have to invest in a Schubert J1 when things get a bit rosier.

i've never found a helmet that fit behind my jaw. i bought a pillow case of foam ear plugs on ebay. i don't ride without them.
