I drink tap water, all life long, from the biggest european public aqueduct since it was realized in 1930, never had a single problem with that water, neither my parents, sisters, wife and so on.
Tough, being someone not enough happy by the actual mineral waters affairs, Mr. Berlusconi decided that the public water must be privatized, another dirty business for him and his sycophants.

How can someone can just think to own the rain?

I have a spring from a sandstone aquifer near the top of a ridge, that feeds a 1,000 galllon underground tank, and is then pumped into the house. Low minerals, no sediment, not much of any source of contaminates within miles. Could not ask for more.

We have well water at our hunting camp. Perfectly clean and drinkable but so much iron in it it'll curl your hair. There's a spring up the road a few hundred feet that is as good as any water anywhere. Needless to say the camp water is for showers, toilet and dishwashing. Although my dad sneaks it in the coffee once in a while.
