I was thinking I may have seen that somewhere before. Some guy rear ended me at a stop light a few weeks ago on my CB750. He smashed in my rear light. Thankfully, he was just coasting a few miles per hour and not paying attention. I had no idea what happened and thought i just popped the clutch and stalled out the bike. I only realized what happened when the guy walked up beside me and asked if I was alright. It was very wierd?! He gave me $50 cash and an apology. I guess it could have been worse.

Other than a pair of duckbill vise grips, my "brake" consisted of the metal sandwiched between the edge of the workbench and a piece of angle clamped down. Bend as good as you can and then let the deadblow hammer do the rest....tz375 wrote:Tom, That is really neat.
How do you manage to get such neat bends and cuts and welds in your fabrication?
What plate bending tool do I not have that I need to get to replace the vice, brick and big hammer?

Got the regulator, rectifier, and on/off master switch mounted...then wired everything up in the tail... No sparks and the damn tail light works...
Had to spin the battery 90 degrees to make room for everything...
(Yes...that is 4-conductor trailer wire)

Be advised Tom if you have problems getting the brake light to work ( mine gave me fits) till I finally figured out that the yellow wire is ground. Who ever heard of a yellow ground wire?

More wiring... Ordered some triple bullet ends...beats having to daisy-chain singles...

Also found out that the H1 heads won't fit the 76 and later cylinder stud pattern...not square like the 75 and earlier models... So, started welding up the stock head to straighten the plugs rather than angled...and center them in the chamber. Low on argon so I am putting off welding up the chambers until I pick up the new bottle... Can't understand why I waited this long to get a TIG...SHEESH!!!! Had to do some preheating with the TIG but once warmed up it handled the thicker casting...

Looks great Tom!
Tom if those signals are the type with the wire coming out the side of the stem I could use those, don't need the whole carcass though.
Like the one on the left.
