GT750 - Possible to replace tach glass?

Post by MotoMartin »

In typical one step forward to steps back fashion, I have managed to break the glass in the tach/rev counter. Is it possible to replace or do I need a new(used) tach unit?

Well it ain't easy but it can be done. Check out this thread.

You can contact Suzsmokeyallan who is doing guage restoration as a service. Look under the services area and you'll see he is getting some sweet results. If you're going to send him one I'd do both. You can always go the cheap route and just look for an old guage that appears half way decent on ebay. Someone on this board might have one. As a final thought you could get creative and go with aftermarket if this isn't a resto.

Good luck
