Same number? Do they need the recess for the dowel? They had some on the site for $18 rated at 11k RPM but these are spec'd at 14k RPM...

Yes its funny the same number but they also dont have the hole for the locating dowel . Richard also came up with this info ..... A stock 6305 is rated for 14,000 but with seals that drops to 10,000 ............. CB72: 6305NZ (9 balls)
GT750: 6305N (8 balls)
GSX750: 6305NX7VI (7 balls)

did it also come with a pedal ?

The pedal is $140 extra and Indian Oxygen didn't carry it yet... I need to pick one up elsewhere... It has on/off/pulse and current taper built into the torch handle... I was able to stick two aluminum Mountain Dew cans together...

I can't do too much right now... I have it daisy chained off the dryer outlet and the wife unit is drying clothes right now...

The crank bearing on the fiche is listed as a 25x62x17...and this was on the label stuck on the box as well... However, the bearing has a 65mm OD (which matches the OD of the bearing on the old crank)....

Am I missing something here???

Indiana Oxygen now carries the foot control... Will arrive tomorrow...

Played with some .125 x 1" aluminum over the weekend... It did a great job... Melted the aluminum down near the end of the piece at half power...HENCE THE FOOT CONTROL BEING ORDERED...

Got the two wider bearings in for the crank... Will mill the recess in the outer race this coming weekend and post the crank off to Bill Bune with all the new parts - bearings, seals, rod, big end bearings...

What's the best way to ship it off to Bill... Just put the parts in the box, include a letter, give them a call... Been leaning towards the latter...

Tom , i made a nice shipping box to send my cranks to Bill and i think Lane uses a nice heavy duty plastic tool box he picked up at Home depot . I email them what i want done to the crank and then print out the letter and include it in the box with the crank . Bill will ship the crank back in the same box you send it to him in so the better the box the safer it will be , i made a nice shipping box by useing a heavy duty box and picked up a couple of cans of foam . I cut out some 1/4" plywood to fit into each end so the crank couldnt punch out and then sprayed 1 can of the foam evenly in the bottom of the box then layed a heavy garbage bag across the foam and then placed the crank on top of the bag so the foam would form to the shape of the crank . I then put another layer of the plastic garbage on top of the crank and up the sides of the box and formed it around the shape of the crank and sprayed the 2nd can of foam over this . When it all cured up the foam cradled the crank perfectly so it couldnt get out of shape getting man handled dureing shipment .
