Not 24 hours ago, Janice and I picked up a sidecar to mount to a buffalo that I have yet to build. She wants to bring her precious hound (a collie like Lassie) with us in the car when we travel. It is a Jawa Velorex unit that will look pretty funky when I get the whole rig built. It won't happen for a while yet, but I will keep you posted as I create this monster. Cheers.

Fred you got ANOTHER project, well at least doggie will be happy going for rides. As for the sidecar project he took 10 years and 21,000 in resources but what a looker and it seats two persons as well..

Allan.
I should forward the site to Wolfgang in Nakusp, and show him what someone did with a Jota triple. It is beautifully done, thats for sure.
Cheers.

Fred showed me this today, and I agree it is in really good shape and will look great ! 8) Personally, I'd like to see it on the Jawa he also just bought, but it will also look very nice on a Buffalo !

Sometimes you just have to listen to your inner voice, when a bike presents itself. It called to me. Poor neglected critter! Its black and rough around the edges, but it has compression (shifter and kickstart are the same lever) and only shows 2900 km. on the clock. It's a mid 70's model where they had the oil injection added. I think the North American market called it a Californian. It is a two stroke after all, so someone had to give it a home. Cheers.
