Sweet Dave,, Are those new rods?? or did they buff them. The crank wheels look all shiny did they buff those too??
Did they weigh the rods and adjust them?? it looks 100% great.
So the magic figure for the work is???? id really like to know
Its the niceist looking crank i have gotten back from Bill , the rods do look like new or very nicely remachined ( i didnt pay for new ) and alll the flywheels are nicely cleaned up and the welds are nicely ground smooth . I havent had a chance to check runout yet but he claimed it to be trued the hit for the work with me supplying the seals was $247.00 + shipping
He did a great job on my GT500 crank as well. My rods looks just as good. I think we bead blasts them while the crank is apart.
I'm getting ready to send my cylinders to him next week for a rebore on my TR500 replica project bike. I'm also getting the pistons heat/molly coated and relief cut for expansion. I'm taking a few extra precausions to prevent a piston melt down when i start beating the hell out of the engine.
