I read somewhere that the SRIS routing changed in mid production. Can anyone verify if this is correct?? The Clymer manual shows it this way but I imagine its drawing is very old and might not be correct.
THANKS!

On the GT750 that is true but I don't know about the smaller triples.

Yeah. I just looked at my online manual and it shows 2 ways for the 750 and only one way for the smaller triples. Hmmmmm. Maybe the 550 and 380 remained the same throughout production.
I don't know for sure - that's why I thought I'd ask.

To the best of my recollection, ONLY the 750 had the changed SRIS setup.
I've never seen anything mentioning changes on either the 380 or the 550.

I removed the SRIS on BlueBoy, and I can't tell the difference.

Lane,
I'm confused. What's the connection between SRIS and pre-mix that you appear to be alluding to?
I happily remove the SRIS, but I won't throw away the oil pump and run pre-mix. What am I missing?

I'm confused by that statement too Lane. Doesn't matter though. As of last weekend, the SRIS is back in place with new hoses and clips.

Coyote, did you get new STOCK hoses and clips ??? Or just suitable replacements ??
I'd kind of like to have at least one hose and 3 or 4 original clips around.....
just in case.

Hoses and clips are available from your 'friendly' neighbourhood Suzuki dealer

Rick i thought you knew that,, sometimes the hose clips are black and other times silver, not much reasoning as to why they are offered in two colours but thats how it is.
Two strokes, its just that simple.
