Less than a week there and only one ride

Post by Suzsmokeyallan »

Thats in Calgary im talking about: i saw Rick at the shop once and i had a good chat with him, then the weather got kinda ugly so my riding was somewhat curtailed.
Ian (oldjapanesebikes) popped around one morning and we had quite a lengthy chat, and it is always great to meet another board member.
Thanks for making the trip out to the NW part of the city Ian.
However between my daughters 15 birthday party BBQ and other work related items etc i was only able to slip in a quick 75 mile ride one evening.
It was good to get the GT back out on the road, even if it was only for a short ride.
Back again in August for the real tour,,,,,

Yes, riding time CAN slip away without us even realizing it, Allan.
It was good to see you again and ian was around to the shop and mentioned that he had made the trek to "East Cochrane" to see you.

Rick its always a joy to observe you 'in action' at the shop. The steady influx of customers and their problems reminds me of why i hate to be at the receiving end of their questions,, you do it well, and theres miles of practise under your belt im sure....LOL.
Ian it was great to see you and we did have a good bit of info to share and the conversation was excellent. I shall see you again in August and i hope to make it over to your stable of bikes then..
