Alternate T500 Rider Footpegs

Since original T500 rider footpegs are hard to find nowadays, I've been on the lookout for some alternates. While working on my EX500, I noticed the similarities with the foot pegs. The bolt holes are angled correctly, and they're rubber covered to dampen the vibration. Of course they don't look stock, but they fit and the price is right (I got these for $10).

Just remember to get the EX500 rider pegs since the passenger pegs look similar but are shorter. Some photos here:

Ok then, and some added cornering clearance in the process too, thats nice to know.

Yep....neat trick. Thanks for that, Tom.
That's one of the few places that Suzuki skimped when they should have spent a few extra bucks, IMO. I've bent my ankle painfully once or twice getting my boot caught between the road and those unyielding fixed pegs. :shock: :oops: :evil:
