T200 ring end gap should be: 0.10 - 0.30 mm with replacement at 0.75 mm. The ring should be positioned just ABOVE the intake port according to U.S.
Suzuki's Service Bulletin a/o May 1/75. The end gap specs jibe with my original Suzuki Canada bulletin from July 1/71....except Suzuki Canada didn't see fit to include the info about the ring position in the cylinder. Go figure....

Thanks Rick.
sorry for the swears and religious comments guys, been a rough week, lost a friend and to take my mind off it I thought tinkering with the bike would help... but it seems my patients is thin lately

Well she's all back together and had her on the road today, seems to run better then before, since I had it apart I took another look at the oil pump and figured out how to REALLY pull it apart, found one more Oring in there that I missed last time and replaced it, no more leaky oil pump! yeah!
just checked the plugs and they look like they did before (one's tan and the other is blackish tho not as bad as last time)
the carb's are set up identically so I'm at a loss as what to do to fix the rich side. any Idea's?

I'd try to swap the carbs and see if the rich/lean sides swap over.

If they stay the same, I'd be thinking that an oil check valve on that side may be seeping, or that the outer crank oil seal on the primary drive may allow oil in.

It's also possible that you have a small air leak on the brown side.

I'll try the carb swap first and see if it follows over.
