...hex head bolts on my GT380. Most of them are stripped out. Does anybody know where I can buy a mix-bag of them or what the thread and diameter measurements of those on the engine and cases are so that I can order them?

I'm using a set of stainless hex head screws on my 550 cafe. Got them off ebay. Work great. The set was so complete there were even screws for the starter motor cover! The original magcheesium screws suck. Even if you use your impact driver religiously, they eventually get chewed up and look really bad.

Almost as good as the GT750 waterpump gears, those are made of unobtanium.
Also, I think in order for Dave to get his efi and microsquirt electronics to work on his GT750 he needs to get a oiji board interface!

So I got the set of allen-head bolts. I replaced most of the machine screws on the engine.
But the three that hold the cover over the clutch actuator on the left side of the engine are a smaller diameter than all the rest.
Can anybody give me the dimensions of those screws (diameter, thread, and pitch) so that I can order more? I have no clue where to take it locally to find something.

The small screws are 5mm I think and are available from your local hardware store in Stainless steel. They are probably 16mm or 20mm long. To work out teh length, try to hold the cover and gasket in place and use a smaller drill bit, say 1/8" to slip in to the hole. Push it all the way in and mark with a pencil or sharpie.
Pull the drill bit out, measure the length that went in and get a screw a few mm shorter. They only hold the cover on, so you only need about 4 threads into the hole.
Our local ACE hardware has draws of bolts and cap screws including a small selection of Stainless. That's where I go.
