GT380 chassis,T500 engine?
Hello everyone. New guy here.I have a T500 project being wrenched on right now, looked around and realized I had enough parts to build another bike. A GT380 frame came up on ebay. I was wondering if anyone has tried this before? Pretty sure forks, wheels etc will swap. Heard swing arm might be an issue, what of the down tubes on the frame rails? Are the in the way of the exhaust ports/headers? I'm no purist and apologize to any that may be, take heart that these are not NOS or pristine parts I'm working with. Tom

Welcome, Tom.
I've heard that it's possible to drop a T / GT250 motor into the 380 chassis but never seen it done.
The bouncy bits at each end are more or less the same, I guess it's a question of how the 500 motor would sit in the frame, and if you can line up the chain run.
