Looking for color opinions

Post by markj »

...do you guys like on the '75 750? I'm getting close to shooting paint and can't decide if I want to go black or red. I know it's a matter of taste but you opinions are appreciated.

between red and black, i vote black. i would choose grey like gordon's big grey dog and i think it would be correct for a 75. i don't have a pic. someone here probably has one.
i love the suzuki emblem down low on those tanks

you can't beat black...but it must be good and glossy.

I had a black 1956 T-Bird back in 1990 in show condition--for about 5 minutes after I spent 3 hours polishing it and cleaning it up. I could not keep that thing clean for a week to save my life, and it stayed in my garage under the best custom fitted cover I could find.
I determined then that I would NEVER have another black vehicle.

Red fades badly in the sun, well it does here because we have a lot of sun!

I hear ya Wayne. I have a black mustang and it's a pain to keep it looking nice. But I have to admit that I do think a Black 750M would look soooo classy it might make up for it. I'm thinking of using a light metallic 2 part. Thanks for all your opinions guys. I think I'm going black.

Only from the stand point that you someday sell the bike -- go with red. They don't call it resale red for nothing. People are strangely attracted to red. Personally, I like the black.

The badges are the same height as the 74 model, but they moved the decals up! Personally, I like the decals surrounding the emblem.

Ironbutt Allen has a body set that's black with the silver decals (as in 74) and it looks sharp.

I believe only the gray and red were offered for 75 in the States.
