ME 77s are a top tyre.....another one I have been a strong supporter of. I run them on the back of my Guzzi even today.

With modern tyres it is not only a consideration of width, but also profile...some of them are low profile which is no advantage on the older bikes IMHO.

Currently, on my Cobra, I have mounted Dunlop K70s. They are inexpensive and grip very well. Those tires were on the bike last May when I was at the gap. I don't ride extremely fast but I had the old Cobra moving fairly fast in the corners and the tires worked very well. Also a friend, Ric, runs them on his H2. For those who don't know Ric, he rides that H2 extremely fast at the gap and the old K70s have not let him down.
