I might not make it up for the meet...except maybe Saturday... However, if anyone is going that wants a copy of the Gap 2007 DVD, I will ship Lane a stack and he can hand them out... Email me at tt14922@netscape.net if you want one this way..IE: FREE...(No shipping or mailer cost)... I will keep count and make sure Lane gets enough copies...

Anyone riding up for the GAP? I can hit I65 anywhere north of Mobile, AL or meet on I 75 at Atlanta, GA. Most likely leave early early Friday morning from Pensacola, FL. Hope to arrive about 5pm.

Tom may not make it until Saturday, in which case, I have room to spare for at least Wed-Fri nights. Jeff may get there Friday (big maybe), and even then would still have room. Saturday could get a bit cozy.

Lane, thanks for the offer. Sounds good and I will be bringing camping gear so as to not put anyone out.

Thing is work may still a problem but I am keeping a possitive attitude about makeing the ride up. I can feel the old girl is chompin at the bit to get on the road. After this trip I promised her new seals and cyl. piston change up! Hey, Bringin Tequila! Thanks again Dofin

Lane, Sorry you couldnt make the Gap! Hope your feeling better. Turn out was a little weak on the two stroke side but the Florida Kawa guys made a strong showing. A few brought thier

gasp 4 Strokes well atleast they had 2 wheels.

Crazy Dave had to leave early and donated his room Saturday nite(wouldnt take anything). Myself and another new to the Gap fellow appriciated it greatly. LOTS of Police in the area which seemed to slow things down.

I had a great time(to short, got to get to the party earlier!) Really enjoyed The ride up and back. The 500 ran Flawlessly!!! Dofin

I'm glad you had a good time. I'm feeling much better, and almost came up there on Friday, but decided not to push it. Gotta go back to work Tuesday.....

Hey Lane buddy -

Tried posting to the Kaw board but not having much luck and not much luck here either....shhhheesssh... taking me 10 times to log in just to post.

Do you know if Ric is planning on a new location for 2008??

Did you guys have a good turn out for August ???
Saw the pics on the kaw board.... Sure wish the Michigan connection could have been there....

Please advise when free

It's hard to argue with facts. I ride way above the speed limit in some places up there; guilty as charged, but not at the speeds they are talking about, and I stay in my lane (most of the time). I do not pass in blind turns.

Man that TV report was something else.... OK ... still at the Gap then for 2008 weekend and all looks good for us to be back down there again at "CASA ALCOA" / plus the home across the street will be available for renting as well now.

We just completed a short 420 to 500 mile trip riding around Northern MI again and "The Great White Buffalo" didn't miss a heartbeat.... blasted out a baffle... but I like it loud

The Bigger question I had was.....
