Color code for '73 TS250 "Pine Green"
Anyone know, or know where I can find, the paint color code for my 1973 TS250? I believe the color is called "pine green" and it was mated with orange tape on the tank.
Thanks!
Thanks!

TS250 Wiring diagram?
Anyone have know where I can find a wiring diagram for my '73 TS250? I've searched the web and have come up empty handed.
I've got the service manuals (pdf files) for the following Suzuki 2-stroke models if anyone wants to trade:
GT380
GT750 (engine service)
T250-T350
T500 (owner's manual)
TS185-TS185A

T500 engine case prep
I'm restoring my '75 T500 and preparing to polish the engine cases. So far, I've used Flitz on all the aluminum parts with terrific results. I love that stuff!
What does the consensus recommend for removing the old, yellowed lacquer finish from the engine cases before polishing?

I found that the yellowed finish on the Buffalo centre cases came off by soaking it with a little laquer thinners and using a stiff brush. You could also use a bit of water based paint remover/strippers available that are more eco friendly.
Dont use over cleaner as it discolours aluminum and makes it look ugly. For the ultimate finish, vapor blasting the cases gives the best surface treatment.

Yeap lacquer Thinner. If it's Stubborn use Stripper.DO NOT USE OVEN CLEANER.Easy of Contains Common House Hold Lye Which will eat Aluminum up Big Time.Suzsmokeyallan wrote:I found that the yellowed finish on the Buffalo centre cases came off by soaking it with a little laquer thinners and using a stiff brush.
