Hello All,
I'm legitimatley lost with this one, my '77 GT250 Won't idle without me sitting there holding the throttle open, not even with the idle screws cranked, which they shouldn't need to be. I've cleaned the pilot jets multiple times, blown through all the things with 100psi from a compressor. I've never had another bike do this. It's acting like its loaded up but there's no excessive smoke, and nothing is set in a way where it's super rich
It also runs fine when it's cleared out and on the power.

Check that the carb slides are in the correct carb, notch toward air box, Many people (including myself) get the left slide in the right carb and the right slide in the left carb ,

Re: GT250 Won't Idle
I just got the chance to go back to my parent's house and fix the bike this weekend, you were exactly right, thank you! I switched the slides around and it runs well now!
