Suzuki t500- throttle cable

Good evening guys I’m still trying to get to the bottom of sluggish issues with my t500.
Before I strip the carbs I want to replace the throttle cable but can only find a new one on eBay for a GT 500.

Does anyone know if they are the same ?

T500 part number is 58300-15000 and 58300-15100
GT500 part number is 58300-15102
I am not sure but I believe the T500 cable was sold in 2 parts ,upper and lower, the GT500 cable was sold as 1 unit.
There were several variations in carb tops over the model,so I am not sure if early models and later interchange.
If you have a later model I don't see why it couldn't interchange with a GT.

Looking at the parts manual on oldjapenesebike.com, it looks like the T500 throttle cable was sold as 1 piece, but there was a difference,2 different part numbers, I am assuming early vs later but not sure.

If memory is correct, the later part # cables are a little longer. Makes them less fussy about the "correct" cable routing.
