Can’t kick over. I used an inline spark tester and the left plug isn’t sparking. Tried two new plugs. If I connect the inline tester to the left plug and the middle cap, I get spark. Is this necessarily the coil? Could it be the wiring, the cap, the points? Where should I begin?
Thanks in advance!
Btw, carbs have been cleaned multiple times. New pilots. New battery fully charged. New gas. Filters in place. This is a new issue.

Could be a faulty plug cap. Just connect the ht lead directly to the plug and see if it fires.
