Happened across info on Threebond TB3911D, which is a spray remover for old liquid gaskets.

Doesn't seem to be available in the US.
Does it work as well & easily as the info suggests? Any good alternative for low-skill home mechanics like me?

I use lacquer thinner, a.k.a. cancer in a can, for the toughest cleaning jobs.
Not sure about liquid gasket removal but it worked to remove the nasty varnish crapola from my 380's gas tank.
