while i've been building this monoshock and reed valve gt250 i've come across alsorts of sprocket sizes while i've been looking for the correct ones for this. anyway, to gear up a gt250 and use a lighter [520] chain, use a 39 tooth sprocket from a ts185, you need the one with 12 bolt holes in it, 6 x 8mm and 6 x 10mm. then get a 15 tooth front sprocket from a suzuki rm465 and ratio is down to 2.6 from 2.93. bit slower on acceleration, but quicker on the top end. in case anybody's interested. yes, they fit perfectly
cheers, dd.

Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

A quote from my old dad
for once i agree with him
trawl being the operative word. at the last look it was 31 pages long - most of that is the engine. did i mention it was also now a monoshock? i love trying different things - and upsetting the purists
cheers, dd.
