Nippondenso Alternator
My 74 GT550 came with a Nippondenso alternator, after rebuilding the engine I finally get around to doing the electrics and find I have a major short which I track down to the alternator, the green wire has been attached straight onto the alternator with no insulating washers. My question is, what do they look like and can I get some from somewhere? Anyone have a photo of them so I can get some idea.

The parts diagrams doesn’t show it, but there is an insulator between the green wire connector & the washer.
There may also be an insulator separating the screw threads & the green wire connector, or it may be designed in a way that precludes contact between the threads & connector.

Not very clear, but parts detail here - https://alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - pick year, model, denso alternator. I'll try and remember to get a pic of one when I go in the garage next time. I have probably got spares too.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

I found an old petrol filter that seemed to have hard enough plastic and cut it down then used a Dremil to shape it, took about an hour during advert breaks while watching a movie. Worked perfectly.

Washer wouldn't work as it needed to be shaped to fit into the section.
