I need a set of coils for my 1975 GT 250. I had planned to go to Rex Caunt Racing to buy, but didn't find anything on his site. I've sent an email to them to see if I can still get some coils, but if not, any other options that are not crazy priced? These are 4 ohm coils, Right? I'm still on the stock points. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Patrick

Lots of generic 12V 'coils for poiint ignition' on ebay. Chinese probably but cheap enough to take a gamble if you're low on $

I have Rex Caunt’s coils on several bikes. Recommend them but I don’t think he sells them any more.
Recently started getting coils from HVCcycle, which are made in Taiwan.
The coils are $38 each on their website & eBay:
https://hvccycle.net/suzuki-gt380-gt550 ... 410-31010/
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Suzuki-GT380-G ... 1582420158
They also sell the coils on eBay for $25.

Your guess for the logic behind this pricing is probably as good as mine. You likely can guess which one I bought.

Re: Need Ignition Coils for '75 GT 250
Thanks all,
The parts fiche for my 1975 is showing 33410-15021, but based on the picture it looks like it's both coils with the mounting bracket. I'm assuming they used the same coils for most of their points-based bikes of that era, so the 33410-31010 would be the individual coil. Looks like trip to eBay is in order.
Also, if anyone has a mounting bracket they want to sell or even a close-up picture of one perhaps with some measurements so I could see about fabricating one, I would be forever grateful. The bike had an accel HD coil Zip tied to the frame when I bought it, so it would be nice to get it a little closer to stock.
Thanks,
Patrick

Turns out I have an extra bracket. Needs a good cleaning. I should also have the screws for attaching the coils to the bracket.
You can have them for $5 plus whatever the Post Office charges for shipping. Paid via PayPal. PM me if interested.

Definitely want it. Hopefully, there is a PM in your message box (the PM functionality on this site is a bit odd). If you don't see it, let me know and I'll try again.

PM sent.
Also, I just bought a few more of the $25 HVCcycle coils. The coils are in boxes that have a $38 price tag.
