Welcome, very nice bike you have there
It is hard to tell from a picture,I wonder if some of the debris could be from the sealer used when putting the cases together, any left over debris from earlier issues should have been cleaned out when it was disassembled. What condition is the air filter?

I don't believe you will be able to see much of the crankshaft, even with the cylinders removed. I think I would just keep check on drains.
