Anybody know what the standard finish of the front and rear wheel hubs was- natural alloy or painted silver? My bike has alloy front and painted rear :(

Seem to remember that the hubs on my 1963 M12 weren't 'just' alloy as they always wiped clean.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Unfortunately not DD. Think I will paint them silver anyway.
