Re: MIck Abbey Pipes
I have to say that supplying a pile of unconnected sections is the easy bit. Steering them evenly along the bike is the tricky bit. Finding a man with the required TIG skills to not turn your treasured stainless pipes into a distorted mess can also be a problem.

Turns out gaffer tape wasn't robust enough either so I decided to use metaldaxman wrote:The plan is to switch to 'gaffer' tape for more durability.sportston wrote:If you use enough sellotape it might work ok until it rains.

Although your metal offering does look quite sturdy.

2016. Details here. http://www.kettleclinic.co.uk/kcforum/v ... &start=130" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
He's well in his 60s, and I 've not spoken to him for some time, but was still doing bikes (mainly Yams, but others too) as far as I'm aware.
He doesn't do strip/repair/rebuild - he's a tuner and modifier.
Ask Baz, he's done 500s.....
