Anyone know the purpose of the threaded hole in the muffler/rear foot

peg bracket on the GT380? Thanks.

The GT550 also has those. A little plastic button is pushed into place to cover the hole.

Have not seen any documentation but I think its used by the frame jig to hold the parts while the frame is welded together.
