Well, I am waiting to get my cylinders back from the machine shop with a fresh bore. I have the crankshaft back and the bottom end assembled. The ordering of a piston set brings up a question. My Kawasakis have 3 pistons the same but the Suzi has 2 the same and a different one for the right. What is the actual difference on the right hand piston?
BTW, this breakdown and re-assembly makes it very clear that the Suzuki is a far more robust engine than the Kawi.
Thanks
Dave

Let me get this straight........You've had you barrels bored but don't have pistons yet?kawonda750 wrote:Well, I am waiting to get my cylinders back from the machine shop with a fresh bore. Re: 750 pistons
Really guys, this isn't my first rodeo. I gave the pistons to the machine shop with the barrels for boring. I really didn't look at them first so wanted to know why there is a different right one.
Thanks for the answer though.
