Re: T500K RESTO
That is great news, John
. I'm sure it will have been worth the wait, complete engine re-builds are not to be rushed.
Cheers Geoff

Hi John,
A lot of the old style forums have a very limited capacity for storage of photos (the more storage the more a site costs)
You will have to look into off-site photo storage sites, I use flickr.com but there are many others. You link your photo from the external site to your post and the site scurries of the external storage to retrieve and display your photo. Clic on the "image" tab and copy the external site URL between the brackets. Easier done than explained

Re: T500K RESTO
thanks Geoff.
not going to bother with picture hosting. this forum is practically dead.
not as lively as it use to be,to much spam not to mention not secure.
I get all the info I need off F/B as you know.

Re: T500K RESTO
Merry Christmas John
I agree the ubiquitous FB is taking the place of traditional Forums. Shame about the resent spam traffic on here, BUT, unlike FB the Forum doesn't collect masses of personal data without you even knowing. All to serve up targeted advertisements on your home timeline. Progress ????? I wonder.
Cheers Geoff

Re: T500K RESTO
The forum is a useful archive of info even if it gets very little visible traffic.
You can login, search for info about your problem & get some good info. There’s no reason to post any questions if you got the info you needed. I’ve done it & it probably happens more often than any of us realize.

Re: T500K RESTO
I agree, most of my bikes I repaired or rebuilt by searching the forum long before I became a member.jabcb wrote:The forum is a useful archive of info even if it gets very little visible traffic.

I still search before I post a question.

Absolutely not dead! Sometimes life gets in the way of regular contributions by certain members, but this forum is worth its weight in gold! Not sure how you weigh a forum but you get the sentiment of what I am trying to say, I'm sure. It is great to know that when you get stuck and need some help, advice or like-minded fellowship you can always find it here.karl pa wrote:At the time of writing this, there are 49 guests viewing the forum.
