The bike is being built as a custom restomod. Not real far from stock but not a stock Scrambler either.
One shot here, this is how the bike is shaping up, the seat is not what will be on it since that is on a customer's vintage race BMW I built years back.
As the bike sits it the rims are a pair of Excel alloys, T500 front brake, original rear hub. GS550 forks from my racebike from way back.

It has alloy fenders now, the tank and side covers will remain original. Headlight will be original.
The seat and tail will be formed from aluminum, call it modern cafe' look, nothing radical. Just more curve to it than the flat wrap of that Bimmer seat.
At this time the engine is original but with a pair of 28mm carbs. My desire is to change the topend to newer style cylinders, possibly 350 size.
It will have chambers on it, I expect I will make my own but time will tell.
Amazing and bet you are glad you hung onto that Suzuki all those years! Looking forward to reading your progress reports.
