Hello
I'm restoring a 71 T250 which was a USA import which has quite a slim headlamp with a narrow band around the glass, but I have noticed in some photos of restored Hustlers and they have the back of the headlamp black rather than chrome is this a GB & USA difference?

The headlight bucket is chrome.

Your bike didn’t come with a voltage regulator. Its a good idea to upgrade to a regulator/rectifier unless you are going 100% correct.
The headlight will last longer & you can switch to an AGM battery.
