Rear Wheel Hub
I am restoring a 1974 TS100. I suspect the rear wheel hub that is on it is not original equipment. The sprocket mounting drum I purchased on ebay, using the official Suzuki parts catalog part number, is much too small and I suspect the new rear hub shock absorbers will not fit either. The hub does not have a part number stamped on it, so I can't compare part numbers. I am faced with finding and purchasing a replacement hub, but they are pretty expensive, plus I had the present one powder coated and I laced it into a new rim with new spokes. Then I would have to find a replacement hub panel and all the associated parts. Any way I can find out what bike the hub goes to so I can minimize my losses?

Pics would be helpful.
Post some pics of what you have on one of the photo sharing websites like Photobucket.
Then post the links to those pics here.

OK, I have never used Photobucket, but I opened an account and posted several pictures. What I don't understand is how others can view my photos on that website. If all you need is the URL, it is: http://s1376.photobucket.com/user/JPD19 ... t=3&page=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Rear Wheel Hub
eBay can be helpful for looking at the pics.
Your hub looks like this one for a 1981 TS100:

Re: Rear Wheel Hub
jabcb, it looks like you are right. Found several hubs on ebay that look similar to mine. Went to Suzuki Parts House and it looks like that particular hub was used for 78 thru 81 TS100s. And it looks like when they switched to that hub in 78 they dropped the sprocket mounting drums and shock absorbers. The sprocket bolts directly on the hub starting in 78. Thanks for your help.

Re: Rear Wheel Hub
Also check to see the parts diagrams for changes to the axle spacers & swingarm. You may need different spacers to get it to bolt up correctly.
