For you GT750 owners some very useful parts that are hard to get NOS can now be obtained NEW
As a serial T500 engine wrecker (racing ) I would love to see them add to their range. Particularly the parts necessary to re-build T/GT 500 crankshafts. To this end I have started to make requests to Suzuki UK for these parts to be added to the Vintage Parts programme. A lone voice is not going to get too much attention but if a few here also chimed in it might convince them that there is also a healthy market potential for a few T500/GT500 parts. I believe that GT750 crankpins and big-ends can be used in the T500 but it would sure be nice if we could get T/GT 500 main bearings and conrods too.
If anyone feels inclined to fire off a few emails to their respective national Suzuki outfits requesting they expand the Vintage Parts programme we might possibly get some positive results.
I just found the response from Suzuki UK to my inquiry, lost in the spam folder for some reason.
Hi Geoff,
Thank you for your recent enquiry, please see below the email I received from my colleague.
Start: Hi Natalie, see below for availability. I have been working closely with Crooks Suzuki who is the source for everything T500/GT500. Crank rebuild kits have been on the radar and it might be something the factory can help us with, but it is down the line I’m afraid. More info will follow over the coming months.

There seems to be a possibility "down the line" of a T/GT 500 crank re-build kit. However I don't suppose a bit of lobbying on the subject would hurt. The T/GT 500 crank is super strong for road use but there is a limit on longevity so these type of parts are going to be needed sooner or later. Designing, proving and ordering a production run of your own replacements is a very costly process so it would be great if we could persuade Suzuki to re-manufacture a few parts.
Be handy if they stocked those airleaky little oil lines and valves eh?
Can't see them there. (These components would be common across the range wouldn't they?
(Apart from twin / triple variations of course)
Those oil lines, for a few models, are very rare NOS and the versions produced by intrepid individuals seem to have some question marks over them. Why not fire off a few emails to Suzuki requesting they be re-manufactured and added to the Vintage parts programme. If enough requests are made Suzuki could well take notice.
Carbs and Carb parts. Although I think most brass exist, The bodies and jet needles and misc rubber parts are hard to get.
But I also agree crank parts... funny some stuff exist some doesn't
Cylinders/Pistons
Yes oil lines. The whole line 4 U can use Kaw valves but still pain in the arse to put on)
Of course Gas Tank, Side covers and chrome parts (lower fork tubes, fork tubes, fenders, head light buckets, tail light, exhaust pipes) and misc trim!!
I wish they would do the same for Kawasaki 2 strokes... I so want a H1 very bad... maybe just a decade ago I would see some good candidates ( a few I waited too long)... today I see nothing or they are priced to be priceless or freaking too rough (no OEM parts), If spare parts avail, you would actually drive your Avenger or Triple.
Keep two strokes alive. And Damn it man , drive them, make sure people don't forget!
