Where are all the race bikes?
I am curious how many people here race,or are building race bikes ? How many road race, dragrace, land speed, flat track, enduro, mx,ice race? And I am referring to vintage two strokes only.

Used to road race, currently drag race a GT750.
Somewhere here in this mess of a shop I still have a lightweight TZ350 that I need to get together.

I guess that makes three Buffalo's drag racing in the midwest? TZ do you run at the Grove or Byron? Geoff I'll bet you have a few good stories! My Titan is ready to make a pass ,but my track runs many bracket races and very little test and tune, which is what I need.

Hello Jim,
To give you something to ponder, I was discussing T500 engine tune with a well known specialist and he said he once got 100+bhp from a T500 engine tuned for drag racing. Good luck on the strip
Cheers Geoff

Re: Where are all the race bikes?
Well as per my other post (TR500 replica) I used to race this baby. I'm now too old and knackered so I just potter about on my GT750J and I'm currently restoring a 1973 T500. as you may have guessed I've got a bit of a thing for the old 500's

Those jap bikes are rubbish they won't last five minutes son, get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

100 rwhp? I'm guessing about 60/65 out of my twingle combo! Paul that bike is really fine and sounds like a great runner. My Friday night shakedown run got cancelled, track timing light system is out.....

Are you kidding? That's a beauty! We love all two-strokes....
Lane
If you stroke it more than twice; you're playing with it.
Too many bikes, too much time, ENOUGH SPACE, FINALLY! Never enough money.........

That is a beauty. Can't help but notice you look like Matt Lauer. I'm sure you are a way better person then he! (him?)
