Hi, been a while since I've been on here.
Preparing my GT550 for the season, and I have a small leak coming from behind the drive sprocket. It's difficult to find a nos oil seal (checked ebay and some other sites), and my local Suzuki dealer couldn't find it in his system on the old part number 09283-25050, and there was no transfer number so he couldn't say if it is still available.
Does anyone know the dimensions on this seal so I can check with other suppliers?
Thanks for any help.

The NOS oil seal is available from Discount Bike Spares in the UK.

They also have a pattern part that is a little cheaper.

The GT750 seal is different I believe. At least it has a different part number.dude99 wrote:Not sure if its the same seal or not, but I just ordered one for my 1975 GT750 from the dealership with no issue.....
I read somewhere that the GT550 seal is discontinued from Suzuki, but I'm sure it has a dimension that is available from other automotive or industry suppliers. For example, I found all engine seals for my H1 at a store that supplies hardware for the oil-industry. Long time ago though, pre-ebay.
