RG125 gamma vs RG250 gamma

Post by dyrberg123 »

Hi guys

Look i have just bought a RG 125 gamma, so does anyine in here have any good tuning advice for such one, then please share them.

Are the 125 port layout / timing simmilar to the Rg 250 ?

Any upgrades considering?

Cheers

I'd go for a decent aftermarket pipe first....after checking compression and making sure the engine is in good order...what's the mileage? Any service history?
We didn't get many Gammas here in the UK, the RG125f was more popular but most 125 riders went for the NSR or the Yamaha before the Gamma. I'm guessing there were even less 125 Gammas in The States.
Some pics would be cool

Hi guy.

Well the pics must wait until i am onshore again, but the bike is 89/90 with 15000km on the meter, so not a rag. The barrel is off for a rebore, and i just got confirmed thet the rg125 is more or less 1/2 a rg 250 for witch i have a article from stan steohens some where.

Btw nikkon make a pipe, don't know others?
