Original Fuel Lines
What type of fuel lines were used on the early Suzi's in the mid 60's to late 60's? Were they clear or were they black. I seem to recall that most of them were clear and Suzuki switched to black ones around 1970. Would like to know for my 68 Cobra, have the clear lines on there now but would like to know what was original. Thanks.

Pretty sure they were black in 69....

If you stroke it more than twice; you're playing with it.
Too many bikes, too much time, ENOUGH SPACE, FINALLY! Never enough money.........

Re: Original Fuel Lines
The best pic of fuel line that I found was in this Suzuki ad on eBay. Fuel line isn't black.

But SuzukiCycles.org has a test review. Fuel line looks black in the B&W pic.

Maybe they used both.

Re: Original Fuel Lines
Can't remember back that far!
Clear is good then you can see if the fuel is going through it when you turn the tap on.

Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.
