I am doing a quick--hopefully--'get it running and ride' project on a 1973 GT550 I found in a barn.
Carbs were the dirtiest, nastiest that I have ever seen in my life. Multiple runs through manual cleaning and HF Ultrasonic unit have them probably good to go, not great.
However I was doing a pre-install inspection today and noticed that one carb seems to be missing a ball bearing in one of the carb throats. Or?
Or does one carb not run one?
Any opinions?
Thanks much for this resource.

Re: GT550 Carbs Post Cleaning. Missing Parts?
So, I am from Minnesota and my brain is frozen. Forgive me.
So the info on the other page (link) suggests that the carb with all of the open holes in the bottom of the carb throat is the center carb, then?
Also, man those carbs still look filthy in photos.
Thanks

Centre and left the same as that photo. The right carb has two undrilled holes and one blanked with a bb.
