Squish heads - origins?

Post by akendall1966 »

Hi Folks,

Well I got the bug, even with the current project near complete. I bought a set of heads and barrels on ebay to go with the stock pile of parts amassed over that last 18 months. These caught my eye for the heads which have squish bands. They don't appear to be welded up units as they lack some of the features of the Suzuki parts and the fins are a bit thicker and the casting generally a bit rougher. Plug is central but not not vertical, leaning back a few degrees.

The box was delivered this PM so haven't really looked in any detail, but I am curious to know there origins if anyone recognises them.
