Brake Bleeding Tip

I did a quick search and didn't see this so apologies if it's old news.

I rebuilt the front master cylinder and caliper, new piston, seals and pads, new one-piece braided stainless line from the MC to the caliper, all full of air of course.

Using a tip I picked up on another board, I have a dedicated hand pump oiler like so:

I fill it with fresh brake fluid and use a bit of hose to connect the nozzle of the oiler to the bleeder screw on the caliper.

Then hold the brake lever at about half travel and start pumping. As brake fluid works it's way up the brake hose it forces the air out the master cylinder. When the brake fluid gets about 1/2 way between the fill marks on the reservoir, short-stroke the brake lever a few times to get the last bubbles out of the MC and yer done!

5 minutes from all new and empty components to functional brakes.

I like it. I've been looking for a good way to do it "from the bottom" and that oiler is just the ticket. I will be buying one soon.
