I will have a good tank and a headlight off a 1976 GT500 which I am going to sell on Ebay. Are they the same as any other models so I can list it correctly?
Thanks Guys

The GT500 tank is specific to the 500,it will fit the GT750 but does not have radiator cap cover. The GT500 and later GT250s use the same headlight.

Splitting hairs, but GT500A had a chrome headlight shell and the final GT500B had a black painted shell.

It's also very different from earlier T500s.......

Shame Suzuki never kept the "horse shoe" headlight idea going

By modern standards, those old 35/25W headlights are best considered daytime running lights.
You can’t fit a modern headlight into the flat-bottom headlight buckets. (Except for the early GT750 that had a round headlight in a flat-bottom bucket.)
A 72 T250 I got a few years ago did have a round car headlight in the flat-bottom bucket. A PO had used tape to fill in the gap so that the headlight would stay put — was hurt-my-eyes ugly.
An interesting future possibility is the use of a 3D printer to make an adapter to fit a small round headlight into the bucket. The adapter could be made to look like glass, so it might actually look presentable.
