Gt 500 Front Fork Oil

Just want to confirm that the fork oil capacity for the GT is 266cc as per Haynes manual.

Near enough.

Check page 2 of the Suzuki Specification #8 at this link - it actually lists it as 265cc but I doubt +/- 1cc will be noticed. 8)
