sprocket seal

Post by dennisd »

Hi Guys,
A newbie here. Have lots of Hondas but have not owned a Suzuki since my TS185 in 1976-77
Just bought a TM250J and seller says it has a small oil leak at front sprocket.
Can the seal be replaced by picking out the old or does the cases need splitting to replace it ?
TIA,
Dennis

Hi,you should be able to do the replacement without the need to split the cases, same as gearshift one.
Cheers,
Roger
