Post by demozg1000 »

Guys is there a trick to getting the center pipe exhaust couplers not to leak? I cant seem to get them not to. I have replaced the couplers and not over tighned them but they seem to always leak. Any tricks?

Thanks

I used to put a small bead of high temp RTV on there when I had my stock exhaust. Any damage to the coupler's?

Fit slightly oversize O rings.
You'll have to use ratchet straps around the 2 outer pipes to get them to locate though.
I did with the 550 anyway.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Mine also leaked until I put the RTV on it. Seems to do the trick. //Pat
